The Session Studio Classic follows the original Session “recipe” with blended Birch and Kapur shells, recreating the classic “Session sound” of strong attack and projection with outstanding lows and punch that you can feel. The reinvented SSC are finished in the same gorgeous high-gloss “31 step” lacquer finishes that are featured on Masters, Reference and Masterworks. Choose from three dazzling stocking finishes including Piano Black, Sequoia Red and Antique Ivory.

Shell Composition:
The nucleus of the Session Studio Classic sound, warm resonant Kapur surrounded by the brightness of Birch finished with a perfect 45 Degree bearing edge. This timeless combination creates a shell with powerful attack and beautiful tonal decay. Fitting for virtually any style of music or venue.

Exciting New Finishes and SuperHoop II Hoops:
Three premium lacquer finishes are available in three pre-configured shell packs. To maximise optimal resonance and articulation, Session Studio Classic features triple-flanged SuperHoop II Hoops on the tom and Snare.

Session Studio Classic Hardware:
The Session Studio Classic features the RL-10/RL-20 Session Lugs. The Floor Tom is mounted with the familiar LB/LG-40 Floor Tom brackets & legs as seen in the Masters series.
